Ludivine Gragy studio website

2023-09-01

Development-only Kirby CMS implementation for a landscape architecture portfolio with precise editorial layouts and responsive media.

Context

Ludivine Gragy's studio site presents landscape architecture work through restrained typography, full-bleed media, and a content structure around Plants, Soil, Water & Stones.

The visual direction came from the designer. My role was development: turning that direction into a working Kirby CMS site that stayed precise in the browser and manageable for ongoing content updates.

Role

I implemented the frontend and CMS templates in Kirby, HTML, CSS, and PHP. The work focused on preserving the designer's typographic rhythm, making the media-heavy layout responsive, and keeping the content model simple enough for the studio to maintain.

Highlights

  • Built the Kirby CMS templates and frontend implementation from the supplied design direction
  • Preserved the desktop editorial composition while adapting it for a stacked mobile reading flow
  • Implemented responsive media sections, project lists, contact paths, and studio information in HTML/PHP
  • Structured content so the studio can update project, press, teaching, and publication entries without weakening the visual system
